Questions and answers
Short answers about readings and forecasts: what you get, how to order, what to do without a birth time, and how to use a forecast.
What you get
What will I get from a birth chart reading?
The reading explains what’s happening to you and why, and suggests what to do so you can live more in tune with yourself.
It answers the questions people live with for years: what kind of work suits you, how to get ahead financially, what kind of partner is right for you in the long run, what your purpose is, and why the same situations keep repeating. It also covers your strengths: what comes naturally, what’s worth developing, and what you can leave alone.
For “When should I act?” see the year-ahead forecast.
What form does the reading come in?
The basic version is a document of about 50 to 60 pages. It has a table of contents, 34 sections covering every area of life, and recommendations, both along the way and gathered together at the end. It reads as one continuous story about you, without jargon. The calculation tables are in an appendix.
The Plus version adds a private podcast in your language, for listening on the go, and a short slide summary for refreshing the key points without rereading. The complete package also includes the year-ahead forecast and the first issue of the monthly forecast.
Do I need to prepare my questions in advance?
No. The birth chart reading has 34 sections, and every reading includes all of them: work, money, love, family, health, purpose. Whatever is on your mind is covered in the section on that area of life, and at the end of the document you’ll find direct answers to the main questions.
I already know myself. What will the reading tell me that I don’t know?
You probably do. You know what’s happening to you. The reading explains why: where the things that keep repeating in your relationships, with money, and at work come from, and what to do about them.
It also names your strengths. People often see theirs as nothing special, because they come naturally.
So I’ll find out my weak spots. What do I do about them?
Every weak spot in the reading comes with an answer to what to do about it. Next to each one, you’ll find where it comes from and the steps that balance it out. That goes for every topic: work, money, love, relationships, purpose. At the end, the reading collects these steps into one list.
How do I use the reading?
You don’t have to read it front to back. The document is easy to navigate. Start with the section on what’s on your mind right now. At the end, you’ll find direct answers to the main questions and practical steps.
The document is yours to keep. You can come back to it before a big decision and after changes in your life.
Will the reading say anything about children?
The reading has a section called “Children and creativity,” about what kind of parent you are by nature. It doesn’t say whether or when you’ll have children, because we don’t predict pregnancy or health.
Why is this more expensive than an automated report?
The price covers work that an automated report doesn’t include. Your birth time is checked against events in your life. A practicing astrologer reviews every reading and stands behind the result. All the calculations come with the reading. If you like, another astrologer can double-check them.
How to order
How do I order a reading?
Send a request: your name or nickname, the best way to reach you, and, if you like, a few words about your situation. This starts a conversation; it isn’t an order. We’ll reply and send you a short questionnaire. Based on your answers, we’ll tell you whether we can take your case and confirm the price. Work begins after payment.
I don’t know which reading to choose. What should I do?
In the request form, choose “Not sure yet, help me choose” and write a few words about your situation. The difference, in short. A birth chart reading answers “Who am I?” A year-ahead forecast answers “When should I act, and what periods lie ahead this year?” A monthly forecast answers “What should I do right now?”
What will you ask in the questionnaire?
Your date and place of birth, your birth time as you know it, and a few events in your life with dates: a move, a marriage, the birth of a child, a change at work. The month and year are enough. For a forecast, we’ll also ask where you live now and where you spend your birthday.
You don’t need to prepare your questions in advance. The birth chart reading has 34 sections, and every reading includes all of them. You don’t need to enter your birth date or time on this site either, since we ask for all of this once we’re in touch.
How much does it cost?
Each reading lists its price on its page, in US dollars. Finding your birth time comes at two prices: checking a recorded time costs less, and a search based on what relatives remember costs more. If you only know your time to within three or four hours, we consider the case individually and quote its price based on your questionnaire, before you pay. The price you see is what you pay, with no surprise charges along the way.
A request doesn’t commit you to anything. You can ask questions and decide not to go ahead.
When and how do I pay?
After the questionnaire. First, we confirm in writing what’s included, the price, and the timeline. Work begins once you’ve paid in full. Payment goes to Optimacore LLC by Zelle; the details come with your written quote, before you pay.
How long until the reading is ready?
A reading is usually ready three to five days after we receive your questionnaire answers. The timing depends on how quickly we can trade messages. We put the exact timeline in writing, before you pay, together with the price and what’s included.
Can I change my mind after paying?
It depends on whether the work has started. We put the cancellation and refund terms in writing before you pay, together with the price and the timeline, so we’re both clear on the rules. Until you pay, a request doesn’t commit you to anything. You can ask questions and simply not go ahead.
What language will the reading be in?
English, Russian, or Ukrainian, with the whole document in one language. If you’d like another language, just ask once we’re in touch. We adjust how simple the language is to suit you, and the depth of the reading stays the same.
Who will see my data?
We keep the data you send and use it only to work on your reading. At your request, we’ll delete it from the system. We can also do the reading anonymously, since the system doesn’t need your name or contact details, only the date and place of birth and the life events we use to establish the time. We never sell your data or share it with anyone except the services we technically need to do the work. What exactly we keep, for how long, and how to delete it is described in our privacy policy.
Birth time
I don’t know my birth time. What should I do?
Start with the quick check “Is your case a good fit?” In a minute, it will show whether we can take your case. If you know your time to within three hours (for example, “between ten in the morning and one in the afternoon”), we can usually work with it. A window of three to four hours is a borderline case, and we consider it individually.
If there’s no reference point at all, we’ll tell you so and offer a personality reading without a birth time. It covers your character and strengths, but without tying them to areas of life like work or home, and without dates.
What is birth time rectification?
Birth time rectification means finding your minute of birth using events that have already happened in your life. We call it finding your birth time.
A birth chart is calculated for the minute and place of birth. In a few minutes the sky shifts, and the chart shifts with it. A four-minute difference moves the dates in a forecast by about a year.
Each possible birth minute gives a slightly different chart, and each chart puts the major events of a life in different years. So we start from events that have already happened to you, like a move, a wedding, the birth of a child, or a job change, and look for the minute where they all fall into place. The system works through the options, and the astrologer decides which one is yours.
The birth time check is already included in the birth chart reading and the year-ahead forecast. People order it on its own when they only need the time.
I’m ordering a birth chart reading. Do I need to order the birth time check separately?
No. The birth time check is included in the birth chart reading and the year-ahead forecast. People order it on its own when they only need the time, for example to take it to their own astrologer.
My birth time was recorded at the hospital. Why would it need checking?
In astrology, the moment of birth is the first breath. Hospital staff write down what someone managed to notice, often a little after the fact, and round it, usually to the nearest five or fifteen minutes, sometimes to the nearest half hour. With a long labor, the gap between the recorded time and the actual moment of birth can be bigger. A quarter of an hour moves the dates in a forecast by several years.
So for us, a hospital record is a good starting point, not the answer. We check the time on it against events in your life, the same way we check a time that relatives remember. There’s just less work involved, and the price is lower.
Why do you need the dates of events in my life?
To find your birth time. The month and year of a few events are enough: a move, a marriage, the birth of a child, a major change at work, surgery. With the right minute of birth, they fall into place; with the wrong one, they don’t. The reading itself is written from the chart, not from your story, so it doesn’t just repeat back what you told us.
Why ask about my clothes and my paperwork?
Times a few minutes apart paint different pictures of your appearance, the way you carry yourself, and the atmosphere of the home you grew up in. Everyday details help us choose between them when events alone aren’t enough.
How do I know the time you found is right?
For each event in your life, the document shows how it confirms the minute we found. It lists the other times that were considered and says why each one was ruled out. It also says how confident we are in the result.
All the calculations come with the document. If you like, another astrologer can double-check them.
Which cases do you take?
We search for your minute of birth using events in your life. So we take on cases where there’s something to check it against.
- You know your time to within three hours and can date five or more important events. We take cases like this.
- Your time falls in a window of three to four hours, or you can date fewer than five events. We consider a case like this individually.
- You know only the date and the part of the day: morning, afternoon, evening, or night. Or only the date. We don’t take cases like these. Unless you know your time to within three or four hours, any minute we found would be made up. Instead, we’ll offer a personality reading without a birth time. It covers your character and strengths, but without tying them to areas of life like work or home, and without dates.
- We don’t search for the birth time of children or teenagers, because the search relies on events from adult life.
- For now, we don’t take cases for people born near or above the Arctic Circle, for example in northern Alaska or northern Scandinavia, because there a small error in the time makes a large error in the chart. A personality reading without a birth time is still possible in that case.
Before you pay, we tell you whether we can take your case.
Why isn’t there a form for my birth date and time on the site?
A reading starts with a conversation. You send a request: your name or nickname, the best way to reach you, and, if you like, a few words about your situation. Once we’re in touch, the questionnaire asks for your date and place of birth and everything you know about the time.
We check your birth time against events in your life, so a single number in a form isn’t enough to work with. This way, none of your birth details are left on the site.
Your answers from the quick check “Is your case a good fit?” are sent along with your request. They contain neither your birth date nor your birth time, only how you know your time and how precisely.
I’m an astrologer. Can I order a rectification for a client?
Yes. We don’t need the client’s name. The date and place of birth, the time as far as it’s known, and dated events are enough. For each event, the document shows what the time we found is based on, and it lists the options that were ruled out. You can check the work with your own methods.
Forecasts
How does a forecast help?
It answers the question “When?” You can see which months are good for starting things and which are better for conserving your energy, and what to check ahead of a big decision: a move, a launch, a job change.
A forecast is a map. When you know about a hard period in advance, you have a choice: prepare for it, postpone the decision, or hold off on starting something new during those weeks.
How do I use the forecast?
Start with the calendar. Sit down with your planner and copy in the three to five periods that overlap with your plans: a trip, a renovation, signing a contract, a major purchase. Read the rest once, front to back.
If something important falls during a tense stretch, you don’t have to cancel it. Check the paperwork ahead of time, agree on who’s responsible for what, and leave yourself some extra time.
Open the year-ahead forecast once a season, and read the monthly one before each month begins.
Is this a schedule of events?
No. The forecast shows the weather of the year: where there’s support, where there’s tension, which way the year is heading. What you actually do in those weeks is up to you and your circumstances. The weather doesn’t cancel your decisions; it tells you when to bring an umbrella.
What if the forecast shows something bad?
The forecast doesn’t predict illness or loss. It warns you about difficult weeks in advance and always tells you what to do about them.
Can I change what the forecast shows?
The forecast doesn’t dictate anything. It shows which weeks are good for starting and which are for pausing, and what to check in advance. What you do in those weeks is up to you. Doing something differently from what the forecast suggests is perfectly normal. A map of the terrain doesn’t change the fact that you’re the one plotting the route.
Every “be careful” in the text comes with a “here’s what to do.” If a period is hard, the text tells you right there how to get through it.
How much can I rely on the forecast?
The forecast is calculated for your minute of birth, which we check against events in your life. All the calculations come with the forecast; if you like, another astrologer can double-check them. If some area of life is quiet in this period, the forecast says so.
The forecast tells you what to prepare for, and the decisions stay with you.
What if I read something bad, talk myself into it, and that’s why it happens?
The forecast has no lines like “this is what will happen to you.” It has periods with dates, and what’s worth doing or checking in each of them. Talking yourself into “double-check the paperwork before signing” is a good outcome.
How is the year-ahead forecast different from the monthly forecast?
The year-ahead forecast shows the whole year and its major periods and answers “Where is this year heading?” The monthly forecast takes one month and goes through it week by week and day by day and answers “What should I do right now?” Open the year-ahead forecast once a season, and read the monthly one before each month begins. The first monthly issue comes with the year-ahead forecast.
Can I order just a monthly forecast?
Only once your birth time has been checked with us: after a birth chart reading, a year-ahead forecast, or finding your birth time on its own. The check isn’t a question about what time you were born. It’s our work: we find the minute of your birth from the events of your life. We only need to do it once, so if you’re new to us, start there. You don’t need to buy a year-ahead forecast for this: the system runs the yearly calculation each issue relies on. After that, every issue is calculated for your checked birth time.
Is the monthly forecast a subscription?
No. Each issue is ordered separately, with no automatic charges.
Does it matter where I live?
Yes. That’s why we ask for both your place of birth and where you live now, because part of the calculation depends on where you live. If you spend your birthday somewhere else, we’ll ask about that place too.
Where the conclusions come from
What is the reading based on?
Two things. The first is a calculation of where the sky was at the minute and place of your birth. That’s astronomy, and any astrologer with the same starting data gets the same result. The second is interpreting the chart. Many of the traditional rules for reading a chart go back about two thousand years, and an astrologer checks every conclusion.
We check your minute of birth against events in your life; that’s what their dates are for. The reading itself comes from the chart, and it doesn’t just repeat back what you told us.
How is this different from a horoscope?
A horoscope knows one thing about you: your Sun sign. The same text goes out to one in twelve people.
A birth chart is calculated for the minute and place of your birth, and an astrologer checks the conclusions. That’s why the reading ends up being about one person: you.
How personal will the reading really be?
The reading is calculated for the minute and place of your birth, and we check the minute against events in your life. That’s why the text ends up being about one person: you. All the calculations come with the reading. If you like, another astrologer can double-check them.
Can this be checked?
The calculation can. It’s astronomy, and any astrologer with the same starting data gets the same result. All the calculations come with the reading; if you like, another astrologer can double-check them.
For every conclusion in the text, you can see what it’s based on.
Are people born at the same time in the same place identical?
No. Their charts are almost the same, but their lives are different: family, country, circumstances, their own decisions. A reading describes how a person is wired; what to do with that is up to them.

Do you use artificial intelligence?
Yes. Planet positions are calculated by astronomical software and cross-checked against a second, independent source. A system built on Anthropic’s Claude language models helps prepare the material. An astrologer checks every conclusion and is responsible for the result. Every document states that the materials were prepared with the help of artificial intelligence.
